Text back the calls you miss. Then book the inspection.
When you can't pick up, Roof Replies texts the caller within seconds, asks about the job, books the inspection on your Google Calendar and tells you who's coming.
A missed call gets a text. From your number, within seconds.
The homeowner hears back from your business before they call the next roofer. The conversation continues by text, and every message lands in your lead list.
- A text within seconds of a missed call
- Texts it starts go out 8 AM to 8 PM only
- Calls are never recorded
From missed call to booked inspection.
It runs on its own and hands the conversation to you when a homeowner asks for a person, has an emergency, or it isn't sure.
You miss a call
Your cell rings first with a press-1 prompt. If you don't press 1, the call counts as missed, even when your voicemail picks up.
They get a text
Within seconds the caller gets a text from your business number, so they don't move on to the next roofer.
It asks about the job
The assistant asks what they need, where the property is and how urgent it is. It uses only your services, hours, answers and price ranges.
It books the inspection
With Google Calendar connected, it offers open times inside your business hours, books the one they pick and sends a reminder the day before.
You get the details
You get a text and an email with the lead's details. Emergencies and requests for a person come straight to you.
Everything after the first text. Your hours, your services, your rules.
You approve every message
Nothing goes out until you approve each message template. After an edit, the version you approved keeps sending until you approve the new one. A monthly report shows what happened.
Web form and Facebook leads
Leads from your web form get a first text right away, and Facebook Lead Ads leads do too when the form records consent to texts. They land in the same list.
One follow-up
No reply after 24 hours? One check-in goes out, then the lead is marked cold.
Review requests
Mark a job complete and the customer gets your Google review link.
Win back old estimates
Upload past estimates you have consent to text, and each person gets one check-in.
It tells people it's automated. Then it stays inside the lines you set.
Says it's automated
The first text says it is an automated assistant. It never claims to be a person and never quotes a price outside the ranges you approve.
Hands off to you
A request for a person, an active leak or an upset homeowner pauses the assistant and alerts you right away.
Quiet hours
Texts the service starts on its own go out only between 8 AM and 8 PM local time. A late call gets its text in the morning. Replies to a homeowner's own text go out right away.
Opt-outs handled
STOP, HELP and START are handled automatically. An opt-out is honored until the person texts START.

Questions Answered before you get started.
Do I need a new phone number?
Yes. We set up a local business number for you. Calls to it ring your cell first, and only the calls you miss get the text. Put it on your website, Google profile and ads.
Will homeowners know they're texting an assistant?
Yes. The first text says it is an automated assistant and it never claims to be a person. Anyone can ask for a person, and you are alerted right away.
What if someone has an emergency?
Messages about things like an active leak or a tree on the roof go straight to you by text and email, and the assistant steps back.
Do I need Google Calendar?
It is optional. With it, the assistant books inspections into your open slots. Without it, the assistant collects the details and tells the homeowner your team will call to schedule.
What do I need for texting registration?
US carriers require every business that texts customers to register (10DLC). No EIN? You register as a sole proprietor. With an EIN you register as a standard brand, which can send more texts a day. You enter the details during setup and we file the registration.
How long until I'm live?
Your part of setup takes about 10 minutes. Then we set up your number, register you with carriers and run a test. That usually takes a few days, and we email you when you're live.
Are calls recorded?
